SABRE

SABRE

A composable set of 3U Open VPX components which enables VPX chassis system solutions for various RF missions
Azure’s SABRE FoS supports a diverse set of high-performance, highly maintainable, RF-intensive SOSA-aligned VPX chassis system solutions

  • SOSA-aligned, 14-slot, conduction-cooled chassis includes slots for three SBCs, eight FPGAs or tuners, one 100GbE switch and one Radial Timing Board (RTB), as well as 16 RF cables and two 100GbE optical interfaces to each FPGA or tuner slot;
  • Provides RTB with up to 11 digital & RF 1PPS and 10MHz or 100MHz (configurable) coaxial and/or LVDS over backplane timing reference signals;
  • Provides High-Speed Rear Transition Module which allows for various chassis network profiles and exposes two 100GbE ports to external networks as well as a switch maintenance port;
  • Provides PCIe XMC bifurcator card which allows for two additional PCIe 4-lane interfaces across the backplane to nearby slots.
SCIMITAR

SCIMITAR

Low SWaP-C wideband (100 MHz to 18 GHz) multi-channel streaming detection and DF system, developed and demonstrated in maritime environments for Government customers, and built around two 3U SWITCHBLADE Digital Tuners/Processors; originally designed to sit on top of a vertically-launched UAS platform for SIGINT detection and DF, but can be attached to any vehicle (such as a Humvee) or mast- mounted for persistent surveillance.

BUZZKILL/BUZZSAW

BUZZKILL/BUZZSAW

Family of detection and DF systems currently used by Government customers for high-fidelity aerial geolocation of targets of interest.

CUTLASS

CUTLASS

4-channel X 2GHz IBW detection and DF system which can tune any four 500MHz IBW 4-channel DF systems anywhere in the spectrum over 100 MHz to 18 GHz to allow for high probability of intercept (HPOI) and DF of targets of interest.

SHENANDOAH

SHENANDOAH

Advanced, modular, high-performance, integrated microwave assemblies with AGC and auto-tune filtering capability for wideband antennas and arrays

  • Azure’s SHENANDOAH is an example of Azure’s ability to rapidly innovate to solve customer technology performance needs and deliver advanced capabilities while simultaneously resolving obsolescence;
  • Applicable for receive antennas and arrays in high co-site locations, such as ship topside;
  • Azure’s SHENANDOAH electronics include everything needed for high-performance, remote conditioning for wideband antennas and arrays;
  • High-power, auto-tuning filters across the entire frequency range can react in nano-seconds;
  • Extremely fast automatic gain control when needed (high power signals make it past the filters);
  • Limiting for extreme cases;
  • High linearity pre-amplifiers;
  • High performance RF-over-Fiber converters for long runs to avoid excessive insertion loss;
  • Below decks equipment to power, monitor and control the antenna and array electronics.
