PRESS RELEASE — Fairfax, VA, December 15, 2021 – Azure Summit Technology, provider of high-performance RF electronics hardware, firmware, software and systems for the Department of Defense announced today that it has been appraised at level 3 of the CMMI Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI)®. The appraisal was performed by GMACK Technical Services.

CMMI is a capability improvement framework that provides organizations with the essential elements of effective processes that ultimately improve their performance. An appraisal at maturity level 3 indicates the organization is performing at a “defined” level. At this level, processes are well characterized and understood, and are described in standards, procedures, tools, and methods. The organization’s set of standard processes, which is the basis for maturity level 3 is established and improved over time.

Thomas Green, Jr, Azure Summit Technology’s President and CEO said, “The appraisal of Azure’s process maturity to CMMI level 3 is important validation of Azure’s dedication to continuous process improvement and consistent production of high quality capabilities to support our customers’ missions. It indicates that Azure’s process maturity is well aligned to our ongoing work delivering complex, mission-critical solutions that provide sustained advantages for our Nation’s Warfighters”.
